I just loved how secluded it was, with no restaurants around. Who needs convenience when you can have peaceful isolation?

This beautiful and nice apartment had everything for a nice stay of 4 nights. I greatly enjoyed the owner and friendly staff. It had shared bathroom which was clean. The morning meal was delicious with outstanding food.

Immersed in the stunning mountains, perfect for sunrise views and trekking adventures. Clean rooms and delicious home-cooked Indian food. Nearby Beans Resort for massages and pool.

The room was updated and spotless with amazing view. Apartment's location was amazing and particularly good close to a beautiful hillside of tropical gardens, containing lots of local spices and the Adimali bus stand.

A hidden gem nestled amidst lush green hills and spice plantations. The breathtaking views from the balcony and terrace were a treat for the eyes. The homely and delicious meals cooked by the host's wife were a highlight. The owner, Mr. Santosh, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and took us on a tour of his spice and fruit farm. The tranquility and peaceful atmosphere of the location were perfect for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this hotel for a serene and comfortable stay.

I recently stayed at The Shade for a family trip and it was absolutely perfect. The serene location and peaceful ambiance made our stay truly memorable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with stunning views of misty mountains. The hospitality of the hosts, Santosh and his wife, was exceptional. Their homecooked meals were absolutely delicious, offering authentic Kerala cuisine. The 2-acre garden behind the house was a beautiful addition, leading to a small stream and waterfall. Santosh was also very helpful in arranging transportation and providing valuable tips for exploring the area.

I had a fantastic stay at a beautiful homestay in Munnar. the host family at Shade was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. They were always available to answer any questions and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. the traditional breakfast and evening meal were absolutely delicious, with many fresh ingredients sourced from their garden. the guided walk in the countryside, tea plantations, waterfalls, and spice areas was a highlight of my trip. I also enjoyed sunrise yoga on the roof terrace. Cons: Was all great 😊.

One highlight was the fascinating tour of the spice garden. Despite being a bit far from the city, the peaceful atmosphere and easy access to tuk tuk rides made up for it. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to others.
